Scott Brasher is an award-winning film/television music composer, arranger and producer based in Nashville, TN. His passionate melodies and emotional orchestral scores have inspired audiences around the world by way of independent and feature films, documentaries, animated series and television commercials.



Composed and produced the orchestral score for the 2008 feature film “Billy: The Early Years,” as well as additional songs in the style of bluegrass, gospel and big band.

Composed and produced the orchestral score for the documentary “The Curious Mr. Catesby,” which will air on PBS in 2009.

Composed and produced the score and served as music supervisor for the 2004 documentary “The Dance,” for 821 Entertainment, Nashville, Tenn.

Composed, performed and produced the score for the 2003 12-time award-winning short film "Winter: En Hiver" for Happy Trails Animation, Portland, Ore.

Composed and produced original scores for national and regional television and radio advertising campaigns, including Tennessee Lottery, KinderCare, Vanderbilt Medical Center and many more.

Composed and produced original melodies for numerous animated children’s series produced by Hallmark Entertainment, Time Life and Sony Wonder, which air on network television domestically and abroad.

Earned accolades for his compositions, including the gospel music industry’s highest honor, the Dove Award, for inspirational song of the Year.
